Teacher introduction

Li Xing, author of this book, born in Langfang, Hebei province, China. He is the chief lecturer of YIKKYU Music Instrument Research and Development (Xingpai China). He was a senior lecturer of Yamaha Musical Instrument Investment Co., Ltd. (China). From 2002 to 2006, he worked in the after-sales service department of Alpine Instruments, devoted to the development of wind instrument technology and market service work, under the guidance of senior engineer Mr. Pang, and Taiwan senior engineer Mr. Wang and Mr. Wu, learned wind repair technology. He has visited and served customers in most cities in China, and has accumulated quite a lot of technical and market experience.

From 2006 to 2011, he worked for Yamaha Musical Instrument & Audio Investment Co. Ltd. (China) successively engaged in sales of pianos and wind instruments, as well as technical training, market lectures, and construction of maintenance stations in the customer service department. At the same time, benefit from the technical guidance of Japanese wind instrument master for many years, his skills of wind maintenance and work management have been further improved. During his work at Yamaha, more than 30 sessions of technical training and market lectures have been held, and more than 80 trainees have been trained.

In May 2011, the “YIKKYU Music Instrument Research and Development (Xingpai China)” was established, and many training sessions have been conducted so far, with more than 200 trainees, including students, professional performance teachers, owners of musical instrument store, musical instrument technicians, and repair enthusiasts who are working in the music instrument market and enjoy a good reputation and income. “Xingpai (China) Musical Instrument Tool Accessories Center” was set up on Taobao in the same year! The center mainly engaged in the design, development, production, and customization of professional repair tools for Western wind instruments. While striving to bring new products and tools from abroad to China, we have designed and developed more than 50 types of new special wind instrument tools. We even own some patents! At present, some tools have been sold to dozens of cities and regions in Asia, Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and other parts of the world.

With the accumulation of years of work experience, the continuous improvement of wind instrument repair technology, and the continuous growing number of trainee, the center gradually formed a strong after-sales service network in China, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), and more than 15 countries and regions; the “Global Service Center” is developed with it. With the development of our country and the continuous progress of music education, the market also needs more wind instruments, and what comes with it is wind instruments maintenance service. Nanjing Academy of Arts developed the first group of undergraduate students in wind music maintenance in 2011. An emerging industry has been born! There is huge potential for the wind music repair market.

Based on the principle of sharing knowledge, in order to further promote and improve China's wind instrument maintenance market network and more players can enjoy better and timely wind instrument maintenance services, the center provide wind instrument training courses for long term. We also provide exclusive copyright textbooks and nearly 100 types professional repair tools. The chief lecturer with 18 years of wind music industry and professional teaching experience will provide on-site explanations and demonstrations. And the students can practice their own skills under guidance. We ensure that students learn the technology all at once. Certificates will be issued at the end of the course.
